Chadbourn gained its asbestos licence from the Health and Safety Executive in 2002. As part of the process, all relevant employees were trained in dust suppression techniques and the use of specialist asbestos-safety equipment.

Upon the recommendation of their client Insulation Contracting Services, Chadbourn applied for their asbestos license. ICS had been so impressed with Chadbourn's performance on other projects that they insisted on using them on upcoming Asbestos contracts.
